Very few of Donald Trump's top 2020 donors have given to his rivals this cycle, a new analysis of Federal Election Commission filings by CNBC and NBC News shows.
A poll released shows Trump with 54% of the support of likely GOP primary voters, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis at second with 17%. No other candidate eclipsed 3%.
“The donors themselves raised the issue, and expressed the desire to properly remedy the situation,” the Beshear campaign said in a statement. Republicans quickly criticized the refunds.
