Rail station at san carlos street and alma den boulevard when investigators say a man took off. These are shots of police cars responding to the scene. Authorities say the suspects shot at officers who then returned fire. Officials tell us the suspect then carjacked a vehicle, of investigators say they tried to to run over an officer. It ended in branham lane when the spec crashed into another car where he was captured. Two people inside the car were taken to the hospital but are expected to survive. The suspect was also taken to the hospital with nonlifethreatening injuries and will be charged with attempted homicide on an officer. Authorities say the suspects injuries were not caused by gunfire. Developing news in the south bay, san jose firefighters are at the scene of a three an alarm fire in the vista point area.
