A bolt of lightning this morning splintered a 100foot tall tree in mill valley at water view drive and lcd court. Some neighbors say it sounded like a bomb going off. Abc7 News Reporter Lauren Martinez is here with a story youll see only on 7. Lauren. Dan, the strike split the tree in two and would fall on the home below. They evacuated the family making for a very unusual Christmas Morning. It was like a bomb went off. It was right behind the house.
