Those dreaming of an Indian Ocean getaway will be glad to know that Sri Lanka reopened its borders just last month, and foreign visitors are welcome to stay at Anantara Kalutara Resort on the southwest coast of the island, an hour’s drive from Bandaranaike International Airport. It’s not just Geoffrey Bawa–inspired architecture, excellent food, and a scenic beachfront location that guests can look forward to here — there’s also a brand-new wellness offering ideal for weary travelers.
