Tarrytown, N.Y.: I used to be a salesperson covering the five boroughs from 1990-2010. Part of our monthly expense account went to the different parking tickets, i.e. meters, alternate side of the street parking, too close to a hydrant, etc. God forbid you had an expired driver’s license, registration or insurance card, or a broken taillight, noisy muffler and dozens of other potential reasons to write you up.

New Hyde Park, L.I.: What is it with these New York Democrat governors who, with their audacious priggishness, deem the state their fiefdom and themselves their kingdom’s imperial majesties? Erstwhile disgraced caliph Andrew Cuomo had the unmitigated gall to say that all of us who believe in the sanctity of life “have no place in the state of New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are.”

Bronx: Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and every member of the Senate, or any elected official, for that matter, who doesn’t get on board with totally banning the purchase of assault weapons by civilians should be made to go to the funeral of each of the children who died on Tuesday, look their parents in their faces and explain why they won’t enact this ban.

Whitestone: Finally! At last! Rudy Giuliani’s New York law license has been suspended. This tells us that the state appellate court disciplinary panel doesn’t require that one be a serial killer to disbar an attorney. The court found that Giuliani made demonstrably false and misleading statements about the 2020 presidential election while acting as Donald Trump’s attorney. The court said his conduct threatened the public interest. Giuliani can challenge the decision, so this is an interim suspension. Hopefully, it will lead to his permanent disbarment.
