Tonight the owners are offering a reward for the 3 1 2 ton train and the trailer that carries it. Abc7 News Reporter Alyssa Harrington is live in Pleasant Hill with our report. Reporter eric, that reward is a free train ride to your favorite nonprofit with your friends. Thats a 2,000 value, and thats if this familyowned business gets their train back. It was last seen right here inside of its trailer, but it went missing sometime last night. Now, the owners hope that somebody heard or saw something. Robberies. Jewelry counters at costco have been a hot target for thieves lately. Sunday morning three men walked into the store in novato wearing surgical masks, and headed straight for the cases. Normally all the cases have like jewelry in there; i like looking at the watches. And i did notice that where the rings are, like the Diamond Rings and stuff, it was kind of empty, so. Empty because the suspects pulled out hammers, smashed the glass, and stole several items of jewelry. They ran out to a waiting getaway car, and escaped. The case, though empty, does have new glass. I thought they were moving the stuff around. Like i thought they were doing inventory or Something Like that.
