It seems to me that its safe to say that the general view of government in the United States is that its broken and dysfunctional. Im reminded of a book that was published in 2012 called its worse than it looks. Is our government really in as bad a shape as popular opinion would have it . James probably, in the big picture i would say there are a lot of things that we can find that arent working in government. I would say probably more so at the federal level than at the local level, but im sure jeff could tell us that there are things that arent working at the state level too. Theres a lot. We can find lots of reasons why things arent working. Theres a lack of interest sometimes. Theres special interest in other cases, but yeah, i think by and large people arent confident the government is working and working well ....
