If it is a hate crime, they do come up with that evidence the point here is it would not make much of a difference legally in North Carolina. The suspect here is charged with firstdegree murder. That North Carolina is a state that has the Death Penalty. North carolina has a hate crime law, but it doesnt apply to situations like this.
