Rep. Maxine Waters did not appear to be in the mood to celebrate, either, as she took to Twitter over the holiday weekend to drag America’s founding document through the mud. She wrote: “The Declaration of Independence says all men are created equal. Equal to what? What men? Only white men?”
Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri tweeted that the United states is “stolen land” and that Black Americans are not “free.” Utah’s Black Lives Matter chapter declared the American flag “a symbol of hatred.” 
Thank goodness for Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona, who tweeted: “Apparently loving our country’s flag is now offensive. Disgusting,” and for Erick Erickson, a Georgia-based radio host and Fox News contributor, who tweeted: “So so stupid. If the American flag offends you, move elsewhere.” ....
