Its not going to be quite as harsh as yesterday. The winds should ease up a bit after lunch. 19 degrees is the forecasted high. This will be the last of the bonechilling frigid cold air. First breaking news from the vine street expressway. The expressway is closed in directions from 17th to 23rd streets because of ice. The water came from here. Its a Water Line Break at a garage at 17th and cattle hill. You can see it peering through a fence there. Crews are heading to the scene to cut off the water and remove the ice from the expressway. Is really warm in Southern California. We are pretty chilly in brentwood but at least there is no fog. There has been a lot of fog lately but today we are 42 37 walnut creek danville and san ramon in the 30s. Elsa brontk and el cerrito at 51 and 53. For some chilly for others mild. A lot of high clouds but that is all they are doing, just drifting. Partly to mostly cloudy to the north and mostly sunny to the south. The dividing line looks to be the goldengate to the north. 50s for some, 40s for many others with high clouds screaming over the sierra. It is really warm in Southern California with a red flag warning as it was 89 in long beach yesterday. Burbank was 86, ucla 84. It is going to stay warm and believe me they could use some rain but the outlook for everybody looks really dry for the first week of february. 60s with 70s in santa cruz. 7 01, is it good or ba ....
