I was the only woman in the room which was made clear when one of the powerful men pointed at me and said, “Njambi, since you are the woman in the room, why don’t you take down the minutes of this meeting?” I couldn’t help feeling that this powerful man, who has no clue as to whether I can write minutes, or care that someone else could write the minutes, used my gender as a reason to assign me an entry level role that could as well be done by anyone else. ....
Said. right. to give you that point. i think she has a point there as well. do you think that do the clinton folks have a point about the nastiness of the campaign, about the fake stories, about the negativity, about what hillary and what david said about what made the maybe what is offensive to people, it affects their lives when you say that the first black president should show his birth certificate. that affects african-americans. look, the general election wasn t any nastier than the primary election. the primary was a vicious process. that s not an answer to the question, though. john, honestly, that s not an answer to my question. don, if i can just hold on, you re answering my question with another question about the election. no. i m saying election are nasty all the time and people get over it. i agree with that. come on, john. we sat here for, what, 18 months ....
Allegations and there is a lot of those on both sides. if we want to wallow in the gutter, we can talk about the clintons past. i don t think that s relevant. i don t care what happened in arkansas in the 1980s, what hillary and bill did that was inappropriate. i don t care about allegations of new york nightclubs or wherever the 1990s, i do care a ton about 2016 and the state that our country is in and what donald trump did yesterday after he denied those allegations again is he laid out an incredibly detailed plan, 28 point plan for what we ll do first 100 days to retake washington for the people, and to restart the economy for the american worker. i would love for the press to focus half as much on that as they are on hising to sue peopl. what is important is what he going to do for america that 28 point plan, the contract with the american voter, i think that is optimistic forward looking. and incredibly detailed. ....
