The beginning of syrias civil war and the country seems as far from piece as ever. Great to have you with us. As many as 20,000 came to walk the Edmund Pettus bridge in selma today. What happened in 1965 became the catalyst for the Voting Rights act. It was in selma 50 years ago when police assaulted some 600 protestors. They were trying to march from selma to montgomery.
