No. 3 Syracuse men’s varsity 8 moved up one spot from No. 4 in the latest Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association men’s heavyweight varsity 8 rankings, and the No. 10 SU women’s rowing dropped one spot in the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association poll.
Syracuse men’s varsity 8 swept No. 5 Northeastern, No. 6 Wisconsin and No. 7 Boston University this weekend on the Charles River in Boston. The women are coming off a winless outing in a regatta against No. 14 Princeton and No. 5 Rutgers. ....

Noles Conclude Regular Season Competition at UNF Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida State track and field team concluded their regular season competition at the UNF Invitational on Friday afternoon in Jacksonville, Fla. The final day was highlighted by multiple personal best performances as well as 10 top-five finishes.

“Edidiong Odiong had a great meet and is really emerging as a National scoring threat,” said Head Coach Bob Braman. “Jayla Kirkland has been doing a great job of showing her the way the last two meets. Maudie Skyring continues to lead our distance ladies, and the discus trio threw fantastic. On the men’s side our older guys really set the tone. Isaac Grimes, Fabian Edoki, Jacore Irving, Adriaan Wildschutt, Milton Ingraham, DaeQwan Butler, Jo’Vaughn Martin and others all competed like National players.”

The women’s sprinters battled in the 100 meters to overcome a broken clock call back after 60 meters. FSU embraced the adversity and all three women went on to race personal best times. ....

Noles Headed to UNF Invitational for Regular Season Finale
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –The Florida State Track and Field team will head to Jacksonville, Fla. for the North Florida Invitational in a final tune-up before the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships in May.
The two-day meet from April 29-30 begins on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. with the discus and starts at 10:00 a.m. on Friday with the women’s hammer throw. A full meet schedule can be found HERE. Live results will be available HERE.
The Garnet and Gold are back in action after competing through windy and rainy conditions at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational in Gainesville, Fla. on April 16 and 17. Despite the weather the Seminoles put on a show in the final day posting national and regional marks along with several new FSU records. ....
