COVID-19 status level 1 – GREEN - CONTAINED THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW Upload your COVID-19 vaccine record With COVID-19 cases increasing in many areas of the country due to the delta variant, unvaccinated individuals continue to be at risk. Employees and students are encouraged to upload their vaccination records (even if you've only had one dose of a two-dose vaccine) to UD's confidential portal by scanning it or taking a picture with your phone. While safety protocols have been eased, safety requirements for campus may be reinstated at any time on short notice if pandemic conditions change.

ETHOS Center restructures, names inaugural leaders The University’s ETHOS Center completed a restructuring last month to provide more experiential learning opportunities for students through internships, collaborative research, hands-on classroom projects and support of student organization activities. Kelly Bohrer was named the center’s inaugural executive director and Scott Schneider will be the inaugural ETHOS Professor for Leadership in Community beginning Aug. 16. One year later: Coping with COVID It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly a year since the coronavirus invaded our lives. The pandemic changed the way we work, interact, teach, study, etc. The way we live. It all happened so fast. March 12, 2020. Here in Ohio, Dayton mayor Nan Whaley '98, declared a state of emergency. March 20, 2020. The state confirms 247 cases of coronavirus. March 20, 2020. UD president Eric Spina sends out a video message saying, “at the urging of state and local health authorities, it has become painfully clear that we must extend remote learning through the remainder of the spring semester and postpone May commencement activities.”
