Discussions about economic policy decisions andpublic health updates filled the legislative chambers as the Tompkins County Legislature gathered for an in-person meeting on July 20.Â

The general fund is the countyâs basic operating fund used to pay for ongoing expenses such as education, health, and human services. Last month, Cornell University joined the current craze.
As stated by The Cornell Daily Sun, at CU’s Spring 2021 commencement ceremony, announcers read a statement recognizing “the university’s place on the traditional homeland of the Gayogo̱ hó꞉nǫ’ (pronounced Guy-yo-KO-no), or Cayuga Nation.”
