Not only that, but he used this denial to double down on his extreme pro-abortion stance. The method was banned when President George W. Bush signed the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003 into law, and it was upheld in the 2007 U.S. Supreme Court case of

During a hearing of a House Energy and Commerce Committee Health subcommittee Wednesday, Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) asked Becerra if he intends to “follow the law,” as he said during his confirmation hearing, and if that included the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban.
