Initiatives to help the old and vulnerable get vaccinated against Covid-19

PETALING JAYA: Registering to be vaccinated under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme might be an easy affair for tech-savvy adults and teenagers, but it could be a challenge for senior citizens, after dismal numbers were reflected in recent reports.
To address the issue, several initiatives were rolled out by the government and NGOs, among them the Covid-19 vaccine registration platform Imunisel by the Selangor state government.
ImuniSel, which was launched in April, aims to register those who do not have a smart phone or Internet access.
In a tweet, Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC) committee member Dr Helmi Zakariah urged interested Malaysians to register as volunteers to help register the non-tech-savvy at imunisel.my ....
