Read / Add Comments Federal authorities in New Jersey have charged a California woman with running a massive scam that produced more than $700,000 worth of counterfeit coupons used at retail stores throughout the country. Using the name “Mandy Carr,” Tong Lor printed Carolina coupons with fake bar codes for household items such as diapers, laundry detergent, and toiletries and and then mailed them to customers nationwide, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said. Lor, 33, of Modesto sold the counterfeit coupons via invitation-only Internet groups associated with her businesses: Mandy’s Treasure Box, Mandy's Knitting Club, and Mandy’s Treasure Chest, Honig said.
Jude Mercer Jude Mercer has been selected as Scholar of the Month for January at East Liverpool High School. Jude is the son of Suzanne and John Mercer. Jude ranks in the top 20% of his senior class with a GPA of 3.686, taking a combination of Advanced Placement and College Credit Plus courses. He is a member of the National Honor Society, and has received All-Academic Honors for soccer and tennis for the past four years. Jude is a member of the tennis and soccer teams, winning the OVAC Championship for soccer, and he is a member of the Outdoor Adventure Club, Booster Club, and Student Council, serving as Treasurer of the Class of 2021 for two years.

TopLine Credit Union Members and Employees Brighten Up the Holidays TopLine’s 22nd Annual Holiday Gift Drive Benefits Local Communities TopLine Federal Credit Union Maple Grove, Minnesota, UNITED STATES MAPLE GROVE, Minn., Jan. 19, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Avenues for Youth, Community Emergency Assistance Programs (CEAP) and Keystone Community Services benefited by receiving donations from nd annual Holiday Gift Drive held during the months of November and December. TopLine members and employees generously donated gifts of toys, clothing, scarves, cash and gift cards to brighten up the holidays and bring joy to many children and young adults this holiday season. Employees were able to participate by donating gifts and money in exchange for a “Denim Days” sticker, allowing them to wear jeans to work on specific days during the six-week program. TopLine’s Knitting Club also participated by knitting and crocheting scarves for local foster youth at Family Alternatives. TopLine members could leave unwrapped gifts, scarves or yarn under the Holiday Tree at any TopLine location.
