A plane occupied by two people from Gilbert crashed upon landing at the Sedona Airport on Sunday, according to the Sedona Police Department. High winds and possible weight distribution appear to have caused the plane to lose control when landing at the airport, said Sedona police spokesperson Sgt. Michael Dominguez. The plane collided with another parked and unoccupied plane and a vehicle at the airport, Dominguez said. It then flipped over before coming to a stop, Dominguez said. The plane s passengers had minor injuries and no other injuries were reported, according to Dominguez.
