Synopsis

Details For Unproduced Fifth Element Sequel Revealed By Co-Writer

The Fifth Element was a huge hit worldwide when it released in 1997, and now the co-writer has revealed details on the sequel that was never made. Robert Kamen spoke with Uproxx and revealed that there was a sequel planned that was based on material removed from the original script that was written by director Luc Besson.

The Fifth Element wasn’t big enough here. It was huge in the rest of the world, and it’s a classic, but it only did $75 million here or $80 million. It was way ahead of its time. So we never did the sequel, and the sequel would have been taking the other 180-page thing he had and working it into a script. He and I worked for a long time, we’ve since done 15 or 16 films together.”

Cobra Kai on Netflix, the creators of the hit series are ready to tease what's to come in season four and what audiences can expect as the story moves forward.
During a chat with "Slashfilm" creator Josh Heald offered a little insight into the direction that the next season will take following the events of that conclude season three:
"Obviously, we've set a challenge at the end of season 3 that sort of gives everybody their marching orders as to the war to come and how this rivalry is going to be decided to a degree, but we're not going to comment on season 4 specifically in terms of when that's coming and how we're getting there. There's a lot more to explore immediately. This is the first time that Johnny and Daniel are looking at each other and really finding the most common of ground to put their heads together and get on the same path towards trying to beat Kreese, this monster that they can both agree on. So the fun of season 4 is going to be starting to decide will these guys actually be able to stay on that path that they've now decided to embark on together."
