Affordable Dentures & Implants has announced the grand opening of the newest affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants® practice in Hot Springs, Arkansas, located at 149 Section Line Road, Suite N. The practice is part of the nation’s largest provider network focusing exclusively on tooth replacement solutions including dentures and implants.

He had not met Dodson before Tuesday's siege, according to local media
Narumanchi had most recently practiced medicine in California 
He is believed to have had family in the Austin area, according to reports

Dr. Bhurat Narumanchi, 43, killed Dr. Katherine Lindley Dodson, 43, on Tuesday 
He had terminal cancer and had recently been given weeks to live 
He took several hostages at the Children's Medical Group, including Dodson 
The rest were spared but he killed Dodson and then shot himself
Now, his parents have extended their condolences to Dodson's family
They say they do not understand why it happened and are working with police
Dodson is survived by her husband Drew and their three young kids

Terrebonne General Medical Center has appointed Dr. William St. Martin as chief of medical staff and Dr. John Steigner as vice chief of staff for 2021-22.
St. Martin has served as vice-chief of staff for the past two years and Steigner has served on the Medical Executive Committee for six years.
St. Martin, a Houma native, received a bachelor of science degree from Nicholls State University and subsequently graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Alabama College of Community Health Sciences. St. Martin is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been practicing in Houma for 26 years.

State health officer retiring after 24 years in position, Department of Health announces


The Louisiana Department of Health is losing one of its most well-known leaders.
Dr. Jimmy Guidry, state health officer and medical director for the Louisiana Department of Health, will retire at the end of the year, according to a statement.
Guidry, who has served in a variety of roles with the department for more than three decades, will retire on Thursday, Dec. 31.
“Thank you to Dr. Guidry for his tremendous work on the behalf of all Louisianans,” said Dr. Courtney N. Phillips, secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health, in a statement.
“He has worked tirelessly for the people of Louisiana through many catastrophes, among them Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Gustav, Ike, Laura and Delta, the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the great floods of 2016 and the COVID-19 pandemic.”
