Hours after a pro-Trump mob incited by the president stormed the Capitol, dozens of Democrats demanded that he be removed under the 25th Amendment - an unprecedented option being seriously discussed late Wednesday by senior administration officials alarmed at Trump s conduct.

Jon Ossoff was given a remarkable offer in 2013 when he was 26 years old. A longtime friend ran a small journalism company in London that produced films investigating corruption around the world. The friend wanted to step back from running the company and asked Ossoff to become CEO.
Ossoff, a former congressional aide, had no experience managing a company. But he had a sizable inheritance from his grandfather. He loaned $250,000 to the company, as did the friend, and Ossoff eventually invested an unspecified additional amount, making him CEO and majority owner. ....

The term Latinx, modifying Latino and Latina to describe people in a gender-inclusive way, has become commonplace - in some quarters. Opponents of transphobia and sexism leaven their social media posts, academic papers and workplace Slack chats with the term. Liberal politicians use it. Civil rights litigators use it. Social scientists use it.Public health experts like Anthony Fauci use it. Merriam-Webster added it to the dictionary in 2018. But the label has not won wide adoption among the 61 million people of Latin American descent living in the United States.
