arabic as he ran to the door. this morning in federal court, it was revealed that rageh almurisi had been living in new york. he was traveling with i.d.s with multiple addresses and a california i.d. card. he had two postdated checks. one for $8,000 and the other for $5,000. prosecutors say he did not have any luggage checked or carry- ons. he said he was coming to the bay area to visit relatives in vallejo. but according to prosecutors, his relatives did not know he was coming from. rageh almurisi did not enter a plea today but is set to come back friday for a detention hearing. you can read will meet with the media at 5:00. new information on osama bin laden's wives. pakistan said the u.s. will be granted to interview the widows. but the u.s. is still waiting for that access. it's believed they lived with the terrorist leader in that compound for several years. the women and several children along with a wife of the trusted courier who was killed with all now in pakistan custody. one pakistan intelligence sours says testimony by the women indicate that bin laden's youngest son hamza may have escaped during the raid. he was 14 years old in this photo. he's now 20 and has been described as the crowned prince of terror. it's believed he was bin laden's closest confidant and was being groomed as a possible future al qaeda leader. we're also learning more about the raid on bin laden 'compound. top officials say president obama insisted that the assault force was large enough to shoot its way out of pakistan if necessary. they also say there were two teams of specialists on standby. one was prepared to bury bin laden if he was killed. the other was a group of interrogator translators and lawyers who would take him to a navy ship if bin laden was captured homeowners will take a big step toward rebuilding. allie rasmus has more. >> reporter: bob and nancy hens is del are hens is -- bob and nancy hensel are the first to rebuild. when i talked to bob today, he said his fame started celebrating the -- his family started celebrating the rebuilding this weekend. in fact, that's where the champagne bottles are from. homes are under repair and some of the empty lots have signs proudly announcing the rush of long-time residents. >> it's healing. it's coming. it's gone happen. >> reporter: construction on a brand-new home on this empty lot will start later this week. >> this is the start of the rebuild of a neighborhood that was totally devastated physically and psychologically. it's a huge step. it's a huge step. >> reporter: fred gill and gilland said the family kept up the tradition of decorating for each holiday. this firefighter is not surprised he's the first to rebuild. >> he's that way. he gets his mind set and that's gonna do it. >> reporter: san bruno's mayor says of the 38 homes destroyed in the pipeline explosion, about half of the property owners plan to rebuild, but not everyone. >> john is not coming back. they'll staying. >> reporter: some neighbors think there should be a memorial on one of the lots for the eight people who died in the explosion. the mayor says if that's going to happen it's something the neighborhood needs to decide on as a hole. the judge in the jaycee dugard case is facing a critical decision involving the public's right to know. next month, the judge is scheduled to sentence phillip and nancy garrido for kidnap and rain. the judge must then decide whether to release the grand jury transcripts which includes graphic system from dugard herself. jaycee dugard is among those fighting to keep those transcripts sealed. the release of dugard's book could complicate this legal controversy. a stolen life will be released in july. per publisher says it will tell the full story of jaycee dugard's 18 years in captivity. however, her spokesperson says she was required to provide far more explicit details on the witness stand. investigators make an alarming discovery at the home of an accused serial killer awaiting trial in marin county. investigators found more than 4,000 photographs of women with little or no clothing at the home of joseph nato. investigators have identified about half of the women and say most of them are alive. naso is accused of killing four california women in the 1970s and 1990s. he's not entered a plea but has been allowed to represent himself. new york mayor michael bloomberg announced a new cell phone alert system from ground zero today. >> over the incoming year, the fcc will roll out a new system called p.l.a.n. >> the local commute on the peninsula. it happened around 7:00 a.m. on southbound highway 101 near sierra point parkway in brisbane. a driver who tull pulled other -- who pulled over on the shoulder to check out a problem with his pickup truck was killed when another driver crashed into it. the chp says a toyota camry veered onto the shoulder and slammed into the truck. according to the chp, the driver of the camry had been reported missing from san ramon and might be suicidal. but it's not yet known if he intentionally or accidentally hit that truck. former california governor arnold schwarzenegger and his wife, maria shriver, are separating after 25 years of marriage and today they are asking for privacy. the announcement was made last night. it comes four months after schwarzenegger left office. we're still not sure what led to the split. in january, maria shriver hinted, though, about the big changes in her life. >> i'm gonna let go. i'm gonna let go of my need to jump into action, my need to have the perfect plan, my need for certainty. when you step out into uncertainty, it's not a disaster. it's not the end of your life. >> shriver has reportedly moved out of the couple's southern california home and has been seen without a wedding ring. their 25th wedding anniversary was just two weeks ago. they have four children, ages 14 to 21. in the statement the couple said "after a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to this decision together. at this time we're living apart while we work on the future our relationship." the mississippi river has crested just below its all-time record but this noontime it's still soaking. the river is expected to stay just below 48 feet in memphis through today. the highest it's ever been is 48.7 feet. that was back in 1937. floodwaters are flowing south threatening more communities. hundreds of people have been forced to evacuate their homes. the next big problem area may be in louisiana where a spillway is being open to divert water and ease pressure on the waters around new orleans. the river is expected to empty past new orleans in about two weeks. good afternoon to you. a live look outside our doors of? >> no. no. we do. we do. residents in san bruno and millbrae may soon have to pay more for garbage pickup. the city council in each city will consider rate hikes. in millbrae costs could go up another 44 cent force the same sized we -- sents for the same sized bins. a homeless man sleeping in a dumpster was nearly killed after he ended up in a garbage truck. trash collectors emptied the bin the homeless plan was in. the truck compacted the trash at least three times until the driver heard screams coming from the back of his truck. >> he climbed out. he a neck and back brace on. i didn't see much more. he got in the ambulance. he was pretty beat up. >> firefighters say the garbage truck was not fool and that may have save -- full and that may have saved the man's life. he was taken to growth. right now the dow is up 91. the world's largest passenger plane was just spotted at sfo. this is new video of the giant a-380 jet. it arrived around noon today from frankfurt, germany. a rot lot of -- a lot of people were standing near the airport and are still. it's the first jet to launch regular service from san francisco airport. it can sit up to 800 passengers and has three exits to get all of the people on and off in a timely manner. san francisco police are looking for a man who robbed a giants' fan at knifepoint outside of at&t park during a game. all he took was a miniature statue. it's a replica of the statue of willie willie mays. the giants were celebrating mays' 80th birthday friday night and they gave away the miniature statues to the first 20,000 fans. police say the suspect pulled out a knife and held it against the victim's stomach taking his statue. the victim was not hurt. game 6 of the playoff series between the sharks and the red wings takes place tonight in detroit. on sunday, the red wings managed to deep their -- to keep their playoff dreams alive with a 4-3 victory. detroit will try to tie the series in the best of seven series. the game starts at 5:00. rodent pellets may be seussed -- may be used on the islands to get rid of mice -- may be used on the islands to get rid of the mice. animal activists oppose the plan because they are
