>> when you hear all these experts and cable-tv talkers talk about the race, tell them it ain't over man, we are just getting started. [cheering] our votes count too. kennedy: okay, doesn't that sound kind of, i don't know for? is joe's campaign has had a lot of problems and now he has back to back with disasters. new hampshire and iowa, black voters are fleeing in droves. they're saying he's running low on money as well. a horrible recipe. his rival elizabeth warren, not far behind, finished in fourth place last night and that seems to have zapped some of her swag. >> the fight we are in, the fight to save our democracy, is an uphill battle. but our campaign is built for the long haul. kennedy: you sure? that sounded more like a concession speech. that's exactly what i thought it was last night, the first few sentences i thought she was quitting. no she's not, how weird. so do the biden and warren campaigns have any chance of regaining that precious momentum customer clubs meet tights party panel panel we have democrat poster and fox news can attribute or just guitar of his back. just a pink pants. trump 2020 advisory board member jason meister's here, along with power the future executive director daniel turner. welcome one and all. i want to talk about liz because i know a lot of people -- and we'll talk about your biden. a lot of people are focusing on him but i think her story is almost more sad and more poignant. this was a big loss for her. >> huge loss, there are so many people from the state -- i just got back from new hampshire i'd been there the last three days in iowa the week before. i've been on the ground going to rouse for all the major candidates here. you cannot tell from the enthusiasm and a worn event that this was going to happen. there were reports that half the crowd was out-of-state. whether the people came from massachusetts or vermont. more massachusetts and vermont thinking birdie was get a be top dog. but a much slimmer margin and all that. her speech made me sad and i am not someone backing her. but some who did have a great campaign her infrastructure on the ground, it was an amazing campaign stop shattuck to plan for everything. kennedy: i want to ask you that. because her plan was to win in iowa. she had great infant structure and ground game in iowa. she's going to do wellin there and then go to new hampshire, build on that momentum and win the first two states. and if she had done that, i think the rest of her plan might have worked because she is still in 30 states and has an infrastructure. which is running out of cash. >> think everyone's learning if you are going last, progressive left, bernie sanders is a genuine article. which p, and i know we will talk about this a little more, he had to sway back more to the moderate lane because this is too hot for me. i cannot compare with medicare file from bernie sanders. i have to go in this moderate landing clogged up with klobuchar and biden. kennedy: and biden we thought that was his lane to own. but with him adjust gaffe after gaffe. it's entertaining if you are not a huge fan of him. it's kind of depressing because i look at joe biden that makes me sad. i think how does this guy get out of the race? >> writes, it was gaffe after gaffe and you did not know what state he was at half the time. and when he did he was calling his voters lying dog pony soldiers. but going back to elizabeth warren, elizabeth warren connects with voters. if you look at some of the idiot footage coming out of violent new hampshire. kennedy: you think the conversation she had with the dad that i busted my about my daughter to college, my friends bought arby's and went on vacations. i worked two jobs, i saved, and i don't get anything from that? and she said nope not at all. >> she did not have a sincerity. she has been lying for decades about her heritage. so i think the lies, for decades and just the lack of connecting to voters, i think bloomberg is going to have the same problem that warren is having connecting with voters. that is a problem. you can buy elections in the case of bloomberg both elizabeth warren she did not connect with voters another problem for her. kennedy: is also proper joe biden because his cell has only been i'm the guy who can be taught. he's not offering any new ideas he's very comfortable running on the obama presidency and cherry picking the bright spots from that. that resonates with some voters. if he's saying he's the president of the future, his record, obviously tells a different story. so he is left to pander. was i get you? >> exactly he was late to get in he entered the race because he felt compelled to do it to take down trump. he kept calling himself this name that everybody calls and middle-class joe, middle-class joe. then he started this rhetoric like you said earlier he tried so hard to move to left, but is not an offensive progressive. so we talked about putting oil executives in jail. he talked about banning fracking and pipelines. and people said who the heck is this guy and where's your biden? if joe biden had been joe biden he might have done better. they tried to be bernie sanders and of a thousand. kennedy: and standing up for those working-class jobs -- now we have to move forward with got nevada coming up a week from saturday. and south carolina shortly after that. so joe biden is really pinning the presidency on his performance in south carolina. what happens if he doesn't do other? >> he needs to not only win, but he needs a big win, like a hillary clinton sow when there. kennedy: is that possible this point? >> looking at the latest polling that looks like limburg had got into half of his lead with the american voters. i don't think it's likely and there might be joe biden exiting around super tuesday. we need to look back at island and new hampshire saying there deciding this there's been no latinos. you have to look at who the corp voting block is for democrats. kennedy: b also have clinton james who is an advocate for black candidates saying no, our people aren't going to just vote for joe biden because he was broccoli biden's vp. they were good about firms that looked like he was gonna win. that argument is falling apart and that's why you're seeing that support leave very quickly. >> the other problem for biden bloomberg it's a short window to take that middle lane. i think bernie sanders is good have to consolidate votes. >> he's had very weak winds. kennedy: i'm surprise is that a bigger story that bernie's win was only less than a point in a half. kennedy: let's talk a little bit about the winners now. bernie sanders and people to judge, hi pete. top dogs for the night they each took home nine delegates apiece from new hampshire. bernie won the night with 25.7% and mayor pete wright on his heels at 24.4. in one of the biggest stories of the night amy klobuchar she got the biggest boost of all a surprisingly strong third-place finish, almost at 20%, 19.8. bernie is on cloud nine and already moving forward. >> on to nevada, it's on to south carolina, it's on to win the democratic nomination and together, i have no doubt we will defeat donald trump. kennedy: i have some doubt but i think bernie and pete and klobuchar just as confident they will be in the oval office is the time next year. watch. >> election after election has shown us that putting forward a new perspective is how democrats win the white house and we will win the white house. [cheering] >> the rule of law can't withstand another four years of a president who thanks he is above it. i am amy klobuchar and i will be donald trump. [cheering] kennedy: pete was ecstatic there still multiple viable candidates, so will any of the former dark horses sneak in and get the nomination? celeste talk a little bit about mayor pete. i have been a fan of mayor pete for quite some time and it seems as though, he was pulling eight points behind bernie sanders as of monday and new hampshire, llamas took the damn thing. >> a shiny penny. he has a big win and a lot of momentum going into south carolina and nevada. my advice for mayor pete's campaign if i had to give him any as you have no idea what's coming for you. they are going to be unearthing his military record, they are going to be calling him racist, if you are the biden campaign you are life-support, you have to attack someone to knock them out. kennedy: is it better for biden's people to attack the moderate? >> i think it's better to take out mayor pete because he's not gonna take out bernie. they are just different candidates. so i think mayor pete, this is the problem being green has no idea it's headed his. kennedy: so did bernie sanders take the mantle of the democratic party? >> he didn't think is gonna start consolidating those votes were elizabeth warren. i think the democrat party is in a very bad place right now. trump has broken the party. kennedy: that's a really nice thing. sue met that sclerotic character. >> he broke the democratic party and i think bernie sanders is gonna take this all the way. the parties nonwage the left and there and something they can't get out of. when trump says the national anthem, they have to kneel. that's the democratic party today and they are not going to be able to get out of it. kennedy: amy klobuchar, she has had warped her resources and momentum in a way that no other candidates have. it might be too little too late, but she certainly had a big night. so is that an anomaly her big night? or was that while we really have to pay attention to her she's bringing something different to the race that no one else is. and you they consider her for the vp spot customer. >> i thought it was interesting that amy klobuchar will have an opportunity -- she pulled 0% with african-american voters. so heading in to nevada and south carolina is not good for her. she basically doesn't have a shot. kennedy: they don't get ma they get mad if you don't say it nevada you have to think mad and nevada. i have sent exercise a club to punch himself in the face? >> that was really sad? i'm not even going there. >> or the guy who paints houses. [laughter] >> i just want to say to jason's point here are clearly what the trump team 122 here and mention mike bloomberg and who i think donald trump fears the most in all this. kennedy: am about to figure that out periods - there's a simple way to stop bloomberg. kennedy: i wanted her to finish a point. >> bernie sanders did not perform as well as he should have look at the polling ahead of time. thinking he is at a neighboring state healing is a 1.5% point. if he would have been there she would've pounced. they are in the moderate lane. kennedy: and you have been saying that for a long time, and if the national party kind of figures that out --'s. >> could amy klobuchar say i will step back and be biden's vp? [laughter] >> i think klobuchar got votes from biden supporters. kennedy: look at this electricity between them. look at the electricity between these panelists. maybe will go into the break. on the president side president trump scored the biggest victory for an incumbent in new hampshire history until reagan. it was reserve from the democratic side today. >> is a democratic front writer today sir? >> that's a good question i would say bernie looks like he is doing very well people like his message, his people have energy, but they like his message. a lot of people don't like change. but there's a group that probably agrees with that, whoever it is we will take them on. but it would certainly seem that bernie sanders has the advantage right now. kennedy: and that lady just will not stop talking, blob loblaw it's the devil language. the rest the president's attention has been focused on a candidate who is not allowed on the new hampshire ballot, mike bloomberg. yesterday trump called bloomberg a total racist at a tweet after audio emerged after bloomberg strongly defending his controversial stop and frisk policy and racial profiling. it's a bad tape, but trump has deleted the tweet saying he would rather run against bloomberg them bernie. so does the president fear anyone in the general election later this year? joining us is the assistance to president trump's campaign. let's talk about the timing of the campaign tape let's see where it came from. >> i would say semi from the democrat side trying to cut into mike bloomberg surge among black voters. kennedy: 30 think that would be? >> there's also a story, i would just add to that the ap just popped a story about mike bloomberg defending the discriminatory practice of redlining and housing and set it because the 2008 crash. so obviously a lot of opposition research is being dumped right now by democrats on mike bloomberg. >> yes i understand that and i think it's pretty practical to say that mike has come from the biden can't because we are so close to south carolina. i think if this were from any other democratic camp it would happen closer to super tuesday to inflict as much damage before the former mayor could gather any of those delegates. so mike bloomberg is starting to have some appeal with the moderate democrats and some republicans who would settle for him as a market salvaging president. does he were your boss the most? 's. >> were not worried about any of them because in order to get the nomination. kennedy: you want to be complacent. >> we are not complacent you saw the vote totals from last night. but i see the parting is shifted so far from the left, bloomberg is going to have to shift to keep that radical base happy if he gets the nomination and that's a big question are the bernie bros gonna support mike bloomberg the billionaire who bought the election if he gets the nomination. kennedy: know it would be totally hypocritical and bernie is the only person as an artist to stand up to him because everyone else who has given bloomberg an endorsement so far is an elected official who wants his money for their reelection and bloomberg knows exactly what he is doing and that's why he is aiming for a brokered convention because the second ballad of superdelegates, those essentially are votes that can be bought. and that is how he is positioning himself. if he's going after the african-american vote, and talking about things like housing and racial profiling and sending cops only into minority neighborhoods, because that's where the crime is. that shows a very, very dim view of minority communities, and i don't think there is anything you can say to walk deeply held beliefs like that back. >> right, and he tried to explain it today by saying that's not how we govern. that is exactly how we govern. he described exactly how he govern. i don't think any amount of money is going to build undo the damage of what you are saying on tape and multiple interviews and then of course with the ap has just reported tonight. it is a very bad look for bloomberg. it will be very interesting to see if he can survive this. kennedy: you know the president, to his credit, is going out talking about record low unemployment for african-americans, for women, best unemployment records -- numbers in 60 years as well as asian unemployment. he is talking about this of painting a more optimistic picture trying to reach out to certain voters. if mike bloomberg still holds those beliefs, he may be distress young african-american men who have been under employed for decades. >> you've seen a lot of the public polling has shown the president's approval is arising among black americans. they are seeing that economic promise that the president didn't is delivering. it's going to be very interesting choice for them if they are going to support someone who conducted these policies and thoughts their youth should be thrown against the wall and frisked versus a man who saying i asked you what you have to lose? look what you've gained. kennedy: that was the title of a book. keep us posted i know the president was delighted with the showing last night. you gotta stick around because the panel is coming back to play the hating game is our first time playing and it is already legendary it is so good, but first up one of the most influential bankers in the nation he does have tangles on a spangle spirit he claims the russians once a certain democrat to win, maybe one who honeymooned in the soviet union. wait to hear why plus aoc getting primary by fiscally conservative democrats. could it be the end of the new york socialist? better not bet against her yet. scott martin here ♪ ♪ everything your trip needs for everyone you love. expedia. for everyone you love.
