TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida State jumpers Jacore Irving, Jeremiah Davis and Alonie Sutton will each be traveling to Columbia, S.C., for the UofSC Indoor Open on Friday. Davis will compete in the long jump at 10 a.m. while Irving and Sutton will compete in the triple jump at 2 p.m. Live results can be found at https://results.adkinstrak.com/meets/12373. Sutton and Irving will each try to improve their marks in the triple jump this weekend. Sutton's best jump this season came at the Clemson Opener, where she finished first in the event with a mark of 12.86m. Irving's best jump also came at the Clemson Opener where he tallied the ninth-farthest jump in school history with a mark of 15.84m. Irving almost broke that indoor personal best last week at the Tyson Invitational with a jump of 15.83m. Davis returned to action at the Texas Tech Open on Jan. 28-29 after an injury that kept him away from training for eight months. Davis finished fourth in the long jump at the Texas Tech Open with a mark of 7.42m. Davis' personal best came last year at the Bob Pollock Invitational where he jumped 7.99m.
