Jenson Button: 'I miss the UK, but LA really is a wonderful

The former F1 world champion recalls luxurious trips to Hawaii and strange culinary experiences in Japan

My favourite hotel is the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on Big Island, Hawaii.
It has everything – it’s on the beach, the food is incredible and it has a great spa. And the flight is only five and a half hours from Los Angeles, where I live. I love snorkelling there; the marine life is out of this world. My fiancée Brittny and I stayed in 2019 on our babymoon, before we had our son Hendrix, and I used to visit when I took part in triathlons. I’m hoping to return next year for the Hawaii Half Ironman.
