>> will: they say the chances are remote, that we will have significant radiation coming from japan. i am outside of the air quality management, the same agency that tells us whether not there will be spare the air days. they are monitoring the radiation, going on on the seventh floor of this building. this is video of the devices they use, to measure the radiation levels, they take the air into the device. information gets transmitted to scientists in alabama who also look over the data and for now they say there's nothing of any significance that we should be worried about. they did not say there is no radiation, but it is so low right now we don't have to worry. the reason as we are separated by the ocean. even if particles made their way over here is so small it would not harm us. the worst-case scenario is that if those particles go up into the jet stream which carried them faster. it will get to the bay area's so the particles could be a bit bigger. as of now there's nothing to be worried about. they allowed us to go up there and should the device because they know people are worried. >> darya: i think people forget that we are exposed on a daily basis just generally. >> will: we get more radiation from the microwave, the television. standard and a lot of people are concerned, it is something they monitor. if there's anything to worry about the let us know. >> darya: mark? up a bit. still badly back up through the altamont pass, an accident at north first street starting the back up. the closer the scene to the accident the faster the traffic will move. that is a
