several guns. he lives in san jose. reggie kumar joins us live with the latest on the search. >> authorities have racked up their neighborhood searches for the night. by taking the could this vehicle--video, he shot officers went door-to-door asking residents of the concerns of their homes in the backyard. the officer split up into groups and worked all over the neighborhood as families watch from their homes. k-9 units also used the sheriff laurie smith said that the dog cannot follow the suspect fan. --scent. >> we know the area that we searched is cleaner, or we believe it is. we fighting vehicle right behind me. it is abandoned and it is believed to belong to the suspect even more interesting about 100 ft. in the other direction is a dumpster behind the liquor store and below that is a rifle. it is also believed to be tied to the suspect. investigators spent several hours collecting evidence from the scene before an offer to replace the rifle into this white bark and carted off and then placed it in evidence. one of the suspects friends who showed up at the scene says that he designed with to make a draw. >> he is not an animal, something must of gone terribly
