affordable housing. for black men, the top concern there is health care costs. something that democrats have been hammering even since before the 2018 midterms. so how can the other democrats not name joe biden in in race? how can they campaign in those issues more effectively to sort of chep away at biden's lead. >> there's a conventional wisdom that's set in that joe biden is the only candidate that's talking to black voters or other candidates aren't trying to. i think black voters are going to be central to whoever the democratic nominee is going to be this time around in the way we've not seen in the modern era. but i think that biden, there's almost an incumbency advantage that he has, obviously closely aligned with former president obama and i think that, you know, joe biden, because of his high name is a known entity to a lot of african-american voters in the country. so i think because of that advantage, i think that there's this sense that african-american voters know him.
