JACKSONVILLE – The picks are in.
With that being the case, and with the 2021 NFL Draft now well in the rear view, let's take a look at how the analysts viewed the Jaguars' first draft with Head Coach Urban Meyer and General Manager Trent Baalke. The Jaguars' '21 draft class:
Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, No. 1 overall (Round 1); Clemson running back Travis Etienne, No. 25 overall (Round 1); Georgia cornerback Tyson Campbell, No. 33 overall (Round 2); Stanford offensive tackle Walker Little, No. 45 overall (Round 2); Syracuse safety Andre Cisco, No. 65 overall (Round 3); Southern California defensive tackle Jay Tufele, No. 106 overall (Round 4); Alabama-Birmingham edge defender Jordan Smith, No. 121 (Round 4); Ohio State tight end Luke Farrell, No. 145 overall (Round 5); and Georgia Tech wide receiver Jalen Camp, No. 209 overall (Round 6).

The 2021 NFL Draft was odd from a Miami Dolphins point of view. The fans were frustrated by the three-day selection process, not seeing the names that had been mock drafted to the team and discussed by analysts being selected by their team. The analysts, however, seem to have a much brighter outlook on what Miami did during the seven rounds of selections.
According to a compilation of 18 draft grades from around the web, René Bugner on Twitter shows, Miami had one of the top graded drafts in the league. Using the 18 grades to create a “GPA” for each team has Miami land fifth in the league:

Miami , Florida , United-states , Alabama , Oregon , Ryan-dunleavy , Mel-kiper-jr , S-jevon-holland , Devante-parker , Matt-lombardo , Notre-dame , Nate-davis

NFL Draft Grade Roundup: Eagles earn incredibly high marks for DeVonta Smith pick

But, thanks to both the cornerbacks going early, Dallas was a willing trade partner and Roseman came away looking golden, still getting his guy while also keeping that extra 2022 first-round pick he acquired in the move back from six to 12. It was a big draft night win for a general manager who was in desperate need of one of those after several big misses in recent years.
Sure, Smith will still have to prove his worth on the field for this pick to truly be considered a success, but on paper it certainly looks like one. And
the critics the media seem to agree.

2021 NFL Draft Grades: Experts rate the Vikings' selection of Christian Darrisaw

2021 NFL Draft Grades: Experts rate the Vikings’ selection of Christian Darrisaw
It appears to be a pretty popular pick

On Thursday night, we saw a classic “Trader Rick” move from Minnesota Vikings GM Rick Spielman. He made a trade to move out of the #14 spot in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, picked up a pair of third-round selections, and still got a player that the team conceivably would have been alright taking at #14 in the first place with Virginia Tech offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw.
What do the experts around the internet think of the selection of Darrisaw? Let’s take a look at some of the grades that the pick was given.

Ravens News 4/9: Trading Down and more

Ravens News 4/9: Trading Down and more
2021 fourth-rounder, 2021 fifth-rounder.
As was mentioned earlier, the value at defensive end is in the lower third of the first round this year. Oklahoma’s Ronnie Perkins, Penn State’s Jayson Oweh and Miami’s duo of Jaelan Phillips and Gregory Rousseau could all be around where Baltimore’s set to select.
The Ravens may have interest in one of those players, too, but they could also be motivated to trade out to find value on the edge in a later round. In past drafts, they’ve found linebackers Tyus Bowser (Round 2, 2017), Matt Judon (Round 5, 2016), Za’Darius Smith(Round 4, 2015) and Pernell McPhee (Round 5, 2011) outside the first round. This year, potential selections include Daelin Hayes (Notre Dame), Janarius Robinson (Florida State) and Elerson Smith (Northern Iowa).

Ravens News 3/4: Obstacles, Options and more
With the No. 27 overall pick in the NFL draft next month, the Ravens could end up with a highly rated receiver such as LSU’s Terrace Marshall Jr., Minnesota’s Rashod Bateman, Purdue’s Rondale Moore or Florida’s Kadarius Toney.
The Ravens have had some success in signing quality free-agent receivers in the past, such as Anquan Boldin, Steve Smith Sr. and Derrick Mason. But Boldin and Smith were in the twilight years of their careers and Boldin earned icon status in Baltimore by having a strong postseason in 2012 when the Ravens won the Super Bowl.

NFL Mock Draft Roundup: 10 different options for the Eagles at No. 6

NFL Mock Draft Roundup: 10 different options for the Eagles at No. 6
No consensus here.

The 2021 NFL Draft is merely 60 days away! Let’s pass the time together until then by looking at who mock drafts have the Philadelphia Eagles taking with the No. 6 overall pick.
Ja’Marr Chase, WR,
After trading away Carson Wentz, 2020 second-round pick Jalen Hurts tops the Eagles’ quarterback depth chart. And my feeling is that he has earned a chance to start in Week 1 next season and try to be Philly’s long-term answer, even though he completed just 52% of his passes last season. The Eagles have major salary-cap issues, and this is not going to be a one-year rebuild for new coach Nick Sirianni. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re picking in the top 10 next year as well. Drafting Chase here will allow a better evaluation of Hurts in 2021; he’s a true No. 1 wideout with a high ceiling. After opting out of the 2020 season, Chase will get a chance to work out for teams at LSU’s pro day on March 31, and there’s a chance he could wow scouts and coaches there and end up as the No. 1 receiver in this class.
