The year 2020 may now be behind us, but we aren't done with the 2020 election just yet.
This week, the newly-elected Congress is getting sworn in, two runoff elections in Georgia are coming up to determine control of the Senate, and President-elect Joe Biden's Electoral College victory will be certified by Congress. Biden also still has a few Cabinet picks to announce – including his nominee for Attorney General – as he plans for his inauguration.

Trump pressured Georgia election official in call, report says

President Donald Trump pressured Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to "find" enough votes to reverse his loss to President-elect Joe Biden in Georgia, according to an hourlong recorded phone call obtained by The Washington Post.
The revelation comes after Trump has publicly disparaged election officials in Georgia, blaming his loss in the state on widespread voter fraud, though the Justice Department found no such evidence of fraud that would change the outcome of November's election.
"There's no way I lost Georgia," Trump insisted Saturday during the call, audio excerpts of which were published by the Post Sunday. "There's no way. We won hundreds of thousands of votes."

Trumps Pressures Georgia Officials To 'Find' Votes for Him

One last act of corruption for the road.

With only 17 days left in his lame duck presidency, President Donald Trump made one last attempt to steal the election that was legally won by Joe Biden. A damning new audio recording of a phone call between Trump’s team and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger was obtained by the Washington Post. The call features Trump demanding that Raffensperge invalidate the Georgia vote count and “find” enough votes to give him the win.

Trump Tries To Bully GA Sec Of State Into Overturning Results In Unhinged Call

January 3, 2021 2:58 p.m.
In the waning weeks of his presidency, President Trump berated Georgia secretary of state Brad Raffensperger in an hourlong phone call on Saturday where the President demanded that the battleground state’s top elections official “find” enough votes to overturn his loss to President-elect Joe Biden, according to the Washington Post on Sunday.
In an audio recording obtained by the Post, Trump issued an ominous warning to Raffensperger that the Georgia secretary of state is taking “a big risk” by not going along the President’s election fraud falsehoods.
Trump threatened Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel, Ryan Germany, on the call by suggesting that they will be subject to criminal liability if they fail to find that thousands of ballots in Fulton County have been illegally destroyed to block investigators — an assertion that Trump spewed without evidence.
