thank you, carolyn. the doppleroking at radar out of buffalo and western new york state and pennsylvania. they have a tremendous snow band out. they are getting about six feet as the average snowfall, some areas are getting eight or nine feet. inches more snow has fallen in that area than last winter in washington. so far, 15.9 inches more than the entire snowfall record from 2009-2010 snowfall winter record. and if you stack up all the dollar bills in the snow, you $16,744.00 400 we have much, much more to fall. ine, we are tropical comparison. 55 and d.c., but this is a brief cold front, you re going to get a lot of cold air. we will drop into the 30 s by about 9:00 tonight. i overnight, we are going to see the temperatures drop even further, 27 degrees in the city, 20 in the suburbs. 20 degrees colder, but at the end of the day here it, improving weather news. we will have a warming trend. i will be happy to share that with you in a few minutes. allison? crews ....
