outrage over this ruling as well. on the republican side, a much different tone. the speaker of the house kevin mccarthy hailing this decision. he said in a statement that the supreme court ruled no american should be denied opportunities due to race. as with similar comments from mitch mcconnell supporting this decision. mcconnell has been instrumental in shifting the court to the right and one of these issues that he has been pushing for as well to gut the way race is factored into college admissions decisions. so the question will be anyone will try anything legislatively to try to change this ruling in any way. democrats who control the senate are not signaling they will do that in regards, but that will

they need to keep playing the race card. there is no need for affirmative action. you give people the opportunity to achieve and do hard work. this young man did hard work, achieved, but because of his skin color he will be denied. why? because of the equity gain. this left wing administration plays the equity game at the expense of hurting hard-working people. that is what's happening in these two court cases, harris. >> harris: the "wall street journal" editorial board is calling out the deception of affirmative action. highlights the pew survey that finds when asian-americans are shown the reality behind the euphemism opinions change. in the research half of asian-americans who have heard of affirmative action say it is a good thing. but when the broader question is asked should race or ethnicity factor in college admissions decisions, only 21% say yes.
