And im lynn yang. This is at i270 at montrose. Were keeping our eyes on patches of ice. A patch of ice is believed to be the cause of this crash in chevy chase this morning. Choppers were over the scene after it happened. Two cars went off the road and into the snow there. One car almost seemed to have hit that tree. No word on any injuries. Lauryn, are we going to get enough of a warmup to melt the rest of the ice on that road . I do believe so, because temperatures will dtop out in te mid to upper 40s, above that freezing mark. Last night we slipped below it, so things refroze on the roadway. I think well have icy spots out there once again tonight and into tomorrow morning. Were getting a little sunshine here in northwest washington, a little bit. We need to go closer to virginia think well get it here eventually. A mix of sun and clouds out there today.
