nichols. the full videos, released last night, show five former memphis police officers repeatedly beating the 29 year old, and i want to warn you, what you re about to watch is extremely graphic. the videos document nichols being pulled over earlier this month for alleged reckless driving. police are then seen yanking nichols from his car, chasing, kicking him, using pepper spray and batons. nichols, unarmed, cries out for his mother at one point. he died from his injuries three days later in the hospital, and those videos sparking largely peaceful protests all across the country. earlier this week the five officers involved were charged with second degree murder, and now after this video has come out two officers from a different department who are also on scene that night have been put on leave pending an investigation into their conduct. cnn s boris sanchez breaks down these newly released videos. again, a warning for you, they re very graphic. reporter: tyre nich ....

Pressurization. There can be a slow leak. There can be other leaks. Typically, it could be leaks around doors and cargo and things like that. Typically its a valve. What happens is these valves fail. When they fail it can be a rapid decompression, or it can be a slow leak. In this case it had to be a rapid decompression for the pilots to respond as they did. Everyone was very fortunate the pilots were able to get on their oxygen masks, were able to descend, and hopefully the passengers got their masks on as well. As were going to talk to jean in a second again, going from 38,000 feet to 10,000 feet in three minutes. What does that feel like for these 75 passengers . Its like a roller coaster dive because that exceeds the recommended descent level for the plane. Thats not to say the pilots did anything wrong. In fact thats exactly what they needed to do. That is a significant number. And i think it just goes to show that the disease is still very prevalent in sierra leone as well as guinea and the patient thats being brought back that was treated at nih was quite sick. So the cdc out of an abundance of cautions is being proactive to bring these ten people exposed to the virus back for monitoring to make sure none of them are going to get any more ill. We know that some of these experimental drugs including one called zmapp were used in treating some of the other patients in the United States and zmapp in particular may have indeed worked.
