Enjoyment
I always enjoy letters from Angela Tambay, Ed Jackman, James Ferguson and Edward Weinberg, as well as several others. Methinks they: 1. Are intelligent. 2. Do their homework. 3. Study the issues. 4. Don't guess. 5. Save me the time and trouble of writing rebuttals. May God Bless America.

Pat Orr’s ‘perspective’
Mr. Orr, from what “perspective” is a huge mob of crazed right-wing extremists — who, incited by the lies and propaganda of a disposed president and his allies, attacked our country's seat of government with intent to commit murder of elected leaders in an effort to overthrow our democracy and replace it with a fascist dictatorship run by the man the American people just voted out — not an insurrection?

Loyal Americans? No.
I’m still disappointed, mad and, yes, very angry! Especially at those who claim to be veterans. What do they think they served for? To defend “Lil Hitler,” Mussolini, Stalin? In my youth during WWII, all I could think about was defending my country against communism, facism, and all enemies “foriegn and domestic.”
These 2,000-plus idiots stormed the U.S. Capitol to “take over the government” because they were being deprived “freedom of speech.” I suppose they thought their military trainers didn't know anything? Furthermore, they thought more of their moron leader, their political party and their “thug gangs” than they did of the U.S. government and Constitution!

Correction
This is a response to Angela Tambay’s Feb. 8, 2021, letter to the editor. Cohen Veterans Network (CVN), a not-for-profit philanthropic network of mental health clinics, was launched publicly by Connecticut philanthropist Steven A. Cohen in April 2016. Mr. Cohen is not an elected government official. The original author may be confusing Mr. Cohen with a U.S. representative with the same name.
CVN does help veterans and their families, having served more than 22,000 clients to date at 19 different Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinics across the country, including one in San Diego. That clinic is reachable at 619-345-4611 and is able to serve post-9/11 veterans and family members throughout California via online therapy.
