Of something wrong came mid morning. We had the report of 16 firefighters that were possibly exposed to Carbon Monoxide. Reporter the firefighters were assigned to the glass fire, but werent actively fighting flames when they fell ill. At an offsite location from the base camp unrelated to the fire area. Reporter they were taken to the fair grounds and were examined on site. Of those 16 firefighters, one firefighter was transferred to a local hospital for further evaluation, and all of the other firefighters have been released back to duty. Reporter investigators are trying to determine what sickened the firefighters including the source of any Carbon Monoxide. The victims were part of the same group of firefighters. It was an Engine Strike Team assigned to the incident. So a group of five fire engines with 16 personnel on it.
