The whole idea that someone is saying they belief the aircraft was on auto pilot and headed for perth. it is patently absurd. they don t know what the auto pilot was doing. if they find the black box and there s data we may know what the auto pilot was doing, what was programmed in to the fms and no one has any way of knowing that. i think what was happening, i think all of the evidence is starting to mount. the cell phone call that apparently hit a tower from the co-pilot s cell phone is just another little piece of evidence that by itself doesn t really mean anything. when you add them together the it seems as though took the airplane and intentionally flew it away from radar, disabled communications and attempted to fly it far away so that no one would ever be able to find it or track where it went. it seems as though it was some kind of very strange suicide ....

Try to explain the unknown. that s why the missing airlines jet let to many of the conspiracy theories. it landed in diego garcia. it s on an island at the south indian ocean. the u.s. denies the claim. another theory, the plane and passengers are on the ground in afghanistan. everyone is alive. i have heard that, as well. a russian newspaper says unknown terrorists are holding them hostages. could this be the first cyber hijack? expert claims cyber terrorists hijacked the security software and redirected the jet. radar engineer rick costaldo joins me now. what is your take on the conspiracy theorys? i think the argument that a cyber terrorist hijacked the plane is ludicrous. those 777s, you are not allowed to upload anything from down on the ground. there is no data link to allow you to get directly into the fms ....

Don t understand why the malaysians never scrambled aircraft to interset that aircraft, then took a turn to the northwest, and then again to the south. all had to be done by human input. whether it was on an fms, a flight management system, or whether it was done by changing the heading of the aircraft, and that would have been done while the airplane was on autopilot but a manual input. that turn away from the route towards beijing, it was supposed to go to beijing that turn happened a couple minutes after the last communication, good night malaysian 370 which raises a lot of suspicions. it does. the malaysians i think after just a few hours into this investigation have been focused on the cockpit. and we ve all felt that this is something that needs to be looked at. because that plane was acting under human control. the indonesians, they said they don t know anything about this, they didn t pick up any radar. do you buy that? ....

Seems as though the flight plan was entered, a new flight plan was entered into the fms and as if the airplane was maneuvered and that when you look at all those things, it s harded to imagine a scenario in which someone other than one of the pilots could have done it. a totally personal point of view, i ve listened to a couple of interviews with the pilot and i ve heard people talking about him. i d seen his resume. he s the kind of guy i would want to fly with. he seeps like a totally standup person and remarkably experienced and expert pilot. that s a personal judgment. as far as the co-pilot is concerned, 2700 hours is not a lot of time, period. for somebody to be in the right seat of a ripple 7 with that amount of time would be very unusual by u.s. standards, probably never done. that would not happen. now, arthur, what do you think about this? someone said to me the other day, the pilot was tryingto commit suicide he would have nose dived the plane which is a highly subjective ....

Headed toward the strait of malaka. as it was flying as low as 12,000 feet at some point before it disappeared from the radar. a source close to the investigation is telling that cnn that. do we have steve wallace on? investigator steve wallace? steve wallace is on now. steve, you ve investigated with you know, actions like this. crashes, disappearances of airplanes. what do you make of this new information? not much. mine, i understand everything captain abend said. that to me is one scenario that remains on the table. but, you know, among the there s been a pattern here, unfortunately, of evidence changing. like suddenly the 12 minutes in advance programming of the fms is suddenly today in the last sentence of the beautifully scripted report from the defense minister says that s not true. now i have to say this primary military radar, which is designed to detect intruders, may be out near the end of its ....
