all this water, the source of it is actually the passaic river you mentioned a little while ago, the river 90 or 100 yards away from where i'm standing. according to new jersey's governor, the passaic has already been at flood level for the last several days. any additional rain could lead to even more flooding, potentially worse than what we experienced in december. these neighborhoods you're looking at here in patterson, these are some of the low-lying areas. the folks who live and work in this part of the neighborhood are quite familiar with the flooding potential of the passaic. authorities have been closely monitoring the forecast, calling for another 2 feet above what we're seeing right now, which is why authorities have set up these sort of barricades throughout the neighborhood. we've been here for quite some time, fred. people are taking their chances, choosing to drive in, while others are simply just shifting into reverse, which is perhaps the wisest thing. in neighboring new york, a flood warning, coastal flood warning in effect for another hour and a half or so. it really does speak to the advisories, the warnings, and

a little earlier, a palestinian-american woman who said she has lost family members in gaza. she voted for president biden back in 2020, but she says 2024 is a different case because of what she has seen and that unequivocal support from the biden administration for israel, she's not going to vote for biden, she says, in 2024. now, the biden administration has said they are listening to progressives who are calling for a cease-fire, who want more support for gaza, but, look, i spoke with a biden staffer earlier today. there is a group of them here that are part of this cease-fire effort. she told me she doesn't feel like the biden administration is listening. but they also believe that springing a massive crowd like this to the district, that gets a lot of attention. we know people are expected to march to the white house, which crowd, around 3:30. that's after the program, fred, which is set to start, i should say, any minute. >> yeah, and the white house being only a couple blocks away
