Marc Anthony & ViacomCBS Partner on Comedy Series

Liked will be the second collaboration between VIS and Magnus, joining the animated kids’ series
Gloria Wants to Know It All, which follows an alpaca from the city who spends time at her grandfather’s house in the country, and as a result, learns about Latin American culture.
Both series are part of a first-look deal between Magnus and the studio announced last November.
"Our continued partnership with Magnus Studios and a talented artist like Marc is a testament to our studio’s commitment to telling compelling, unique stories that resonate with audiences around the world," said Acosta.
Added Anthony: "We are very excited and it is an honor to have the opportunity to work with ViacomCBS International Studios on these projects that mean so much to us and to share with the world stories that bring to light our culture."

Anthony is a singer, songwriter and music producer who has ventured into the TV and film space with his outfit Magnus Studios. In his Digital MIPTV keynote conversation with Acosta, he discussed his life and career, charting his journey in music growing up in East Harlem in New York City. “My mom and dad would argue through music,” Anthony said. “I’d go downstairs and hear Gladys Knight and the Pips or Luther Vandross or Fania out of everyone’s windows. I didn’t realize I was being wired musically.”

Liked is described comedy series about a millennial who does whatever it takes, including lying, to achieve fame as an online influencer. Anthony and VIS president JC Acosta announced the project Wednesday during a prerecorded keynote session as part of the digital MIPTV international television market.

At a virtual NATPE event, the studio announces such projects as a made-for-TV musical movie, based on a telenovela, from creatives behind 'The Prom' and 'High School Musical.'
ViacomCBS' ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS) unveiled a new content slate at the virtual NATPE Miami 2021 event on Thursday, including series, documentaries, a made-for-TV, or streaming, movie based on an Argentine-Mexican musical telenovela and kids programming.
It said the projects, including a show set in Europe during the time of the 1968 student revolution, a true-crime series about one of Britain's most notorious criminal investigations and a documentary about the Mexican doctor who inspired the Hannibal Lecter character, would start production this year.
