Four US Officers Killed In Shooting At North Carolina Residence While Serving Warrant

Four officers have been killed in a shooting while attempting to serve a warrant at a home in Charlotte, North Carolina, including one deputy US marshal and two local task force officers. A former Director of Information Technology of the Central Bank of Nigeria, John Ayoh, has accused former governor of the apex bank, Godwin Emefiele of always collecting bribes before he awarded any contracts during his tenure.  Ayoh, who is the second prosecution witness in a trial before Justice Rahman Oshodi of Lagos High Court Sitting in Ikeja insisted that Emefiele turned collection of bribes to a normal way of the apex bank procurement process.

Failed Primary: Ondo Governorship Aspirants To Drag APC Committee To Court

Some aggrieved All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirants in the just concluded party primary ahead of the Ondo State governorship election are set to take legal actions against the Governor Usman Ododo-led committee which conducted the election. Three of the sixteen aspirants in the APC’s governorship primary election had petitioned the party over the outcome of the poll, demanding a cancellation of the exercise.  The aggrieved aspirants had alleged that the committee which was headed by the Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, was biased in the assignment.
