We have about another two hours of cooling to go to lose maybe a degree or two. After that, numbers coming up. Good air quality so far for the most part, except for fremont and down by santa cruz, where it is moderate and of course our excessive heat warnings continues until 9 00 tomorrow with our heat advisory along the coast and once again, we are looking at potential records so a spare the air alert today, poor air quality inland and south bay, by 9 00, well into the 80s. Crews timely got their work done and made repairs by 5 30 this morning, but they made a key mistake so their work was torn down again, and look at this mess that were now dealing with out here. One eastbound lane of Pleasant Hill road is closed. Westbound traffic cant turn into this shopping center. Police say the phone and cable lines were installed too low, so when a delivery truck pulled in this morning around 7 30 it hit the lines and brought them down again. This road closure happened so close to the other one, some drivers figured it was the same issue, not knowing that they had made the repairs from yesterdays crash. Drivers tell us they were bummed to have to deal with detours here again today. This is a man through for a lot of people going around the hill instead of the freeway so it makes a big difference backing up traffic, yes. So if its a close and session, it would be worse. On this tuesday, march 22. We checked weather and traffic every 10 minutes. Lets get over to meteorologist, brenda jargons and Severe Weather center nine. Holy temperatures, it is really cold out there. Grab that jacket you are going to need it this morning. We are looking at clear skies and calm her winds. Otherwise these 30s and 40s would feel like 20s and 30s. Remember, we see our coldest temperatures at sunrise, we still have a couple more hours of cooling to go. On top of the 20 degrees cooler we were yesterday, we added an additional 14 degrees of a cooldown as we head into this morning. It is a lot cooler out there, but the good news is the winds have died down, we are going to be warming things up nicely into the mid 70s inland and upper 60s almost 70s across the coastline.
