Up until now gm has claimed that no decisions, no action were taken on a recall until at least january 31st. At that time there was a meeting and a decision was made that a recall was needed. On february 7th, the Company Issued a recall, covering 700,000 different vehicles. However now these emails show that that timetable may have changed and decisions were being made as early as december 18th.
