it goes on and on. so, yes, there is a crisis. and, yes, the urban league is right to sound the alarm. >> okay. is that the answer in the short term though? and if you look at that compared with the long term, you hear time and again, earl, it's all about education. that's something that cannot be denied but that, of course, is not going to solvele the immediate problem for the next five years. >> well, and really it's a combination of things. education is one. lack of skills, lack of training, discrimination is still in there, too. there is a lot of reasons. we can go down the long checklist of reasons why so many young -- especially young african-american males are unemployed. also prison records, criminal justice system. it's just a total complex picture that we are looking at, but having said that, it's still right on the part of the urban league and the congressional black caucus and the naacp have made the same call. you've got to have a sustained targeted effort in all of these areas to really begin to tackle the problem.

most nfl players are worried about the league's labor dispute. for at least one player, it's actually thrilling. always hungry for publicity, the cincinnati bengals' chad ochocinco is serious about soccer. the lockout gave him the chance to make the practice squad of major league soccer's sporting kansas city, fulfilling his lifelong dream to play professional soccer. omaamar'e stoudemire is thew man in ciara's life. tmz quotes sources as saying enrique iglesias dropped out of britney spears' concert because his ego can't handle it. he had co-headliner status and he agreed to the deal. earlier this week spears held a news conference announcing the tour. hours later she was snubbed by enrique because he couldn't handle taking the stage first. bill, good thing that they're not going to be touring together. >> yeah. i don't believe it, though.
