Other civilians, another 106 passengers and crew members. Thousands gathered at new yorks ground zero to reflect on the loss that lingers. This was the scene this morning at the 9 11 World Trade Center memorial. Family and friends remembering those etched in the memorial. Bells tolled. There were moments of silence and the names of the nearly 3,000 people who were killed were read during the ceremony.
