the president call on congress to try to address this problem. there's been a flurry of garb negotiations, there was before the new year that seemed like there was the cop tours of some sort of deal gwen republicans and democrats in the senate. whether or not that picks up, i think we'll see as lawmakers come back into town. but it's clear that this is not just a democrat or republican problem. both parties are feeling the pressure to try and do something and address this. >> mike: matthew with some problems sometimes they want a solution and sometimes at political time they want the issue to bang the other side over the head over. how do you see this won in the context of 2024. >> i do think election year politics will make it very hard for congress to reach an agreement, not only on immigration and the southern border, but also on aid to ukraine, aid to israel and even some money for taiwan. the problem here, mike, is this is joe biden's crisis, he
nikki haley behind him ramaswamy in single digits as well as chris christie. tyler how do you see it. >> i think it's the big test as kimberly said for ron desantis. he put a lot of his campaign energy into a strong performance here. but it's also a test for donald trump as trump has projected immense confidence heading into this first contest backed up by polling, does his ground operation follow up with that turnout? does he get the sort of massive victory that he is expected to as polling suggests, and what does that do to the other candidates. obviously new hampshire is more of a test for nikki haley with a strong polling performance there thus far but for trump, is this the step to put in, you know, this sort of invinceability argument that he's made that he is by far the best candidate to run away with the nomination. >> mike: matthew, how do you see iowa? >> well, i think all the candidates have different

out if they wish to, but at least they have the option. i was born before 2005, so i don't have the right to know who my donor was. but i'm off to meet a brother and sister who do. hello. are you 0k? oh, look at your curls. you've got beautiful curls. laughter twins phoebe and matthew have always known they're donor—conceived. we decided, because the change in law was coming up in 2005, that we would wait to start ivf. because, for the sake of a few months, we just felt it wasn't fair on any children we might have had to deny them that opportunity to find out who that donor was. but as they got older and started asking questions, they were very keen on... "how old is he? "what's his name? what does he do?" so i did a bit of research and we found we could send away for non—identifiable information. and then i think the biggest surprise for us — he was born in colombia.
