Since the tragic flooding we ve joined in a search effort to find the loved ones trapped in the house on the blanco river. many of you heard accounts of that evening. here s what we know now. jonathan mccomb is treated for injuries at a san antonio hospital. physically he s expected to make a fulle recovery though emotionally he has a long road ahead and will need the love and support of all of us. at this time jonathan s wife laura mccomb and their two children andrew and leighton are still missing. yesterday afternoon, we received word that the body of michelle charba had been found. michelle s husband randy, their son will and parents ralph and sue kerry are still missing. ....
And when it rains, that creates a problem. first of all, you don t want fluctuation in the liver level because of all of the debris they are sifting through. down the river, they have debris piles as tall as these trees they re going through. more rain it displaces some debrie and makes it really challenging. three people identified one pending identification and one of the most recent ones we learned about today was michelle charba found the rest of her family unfortunately missing. her husband, son and her parents. they told us today these crews will be out no matter what and will keep searching until the rest of the victims are found, jake. jennifer it s not just south texas getting the severe weather. the right? reporter: absolutely. in fact we had a tornado in the panhandle yesterday. in fact three people were injured from that. it hit an oil rig area and hit ....
So mr. mccomb, your son jonathan was able to recount the harrowing tale of how that home broke up. can you tell me what we know about the other families and whom among them are missing and who whether there are children, adults. can you paint the picture of who else was in that home? well, ralph and sue kerry, a retired dentist. it was their home and their daughter michelle. that s the other couple, michelle and randy charba. michelle is kerry s daughter. and then randy and michelle s son will and jonathan, laura and their two kids were in the house. there were nine of them in the house. jonathan is the only one accounted for. the other eight are unaccounted for. it s a devastation because you re talking two generations of that family that are unaccounted for. mom and the dad and the daughter ....
