Metro workers on friday and today we learned this is not about a contract. Workers are very upset with a new sick policy. Metro workers are now required to request most excused absences including sick leave and get supervisor approval of at least three full schedule workdays in advance so people who will be sick on friday had to request that day yesterday in order to follow policy.
