Stay at home or at least stay local. Happening now, parking lots to a number of parks around the city are closed to cut down on crowds. Live with how this might affect your plans to get out of the house this weekend. Good morning. People who show up to state parks by car will see the parking lots are closed. You can see the entrance has been closed as of midnight. All parking lots at state parks are closed as this new wave of parking closures is to prevent what happened last weekend when huge crowds came out to state parks. Its okay to go out for a run or biking or hiking, but encouraging to do those tivities closer tlo rk ls a pedn and bicycle access. Here in San Francisco parking lots that are affected are at ford fundson and ocean beach. Last weekend many people reported seeing big groups at parks and beaches, some upwards of 30 to 40 people having picnics, for example, not following social protocol distancing. These new parking lot closures dont affect San Francisco but state parks
