Haron. he s known for the extremist views and also charges, in fact, accessory of murder to his wife. a name they have been knowing and followed. we want to bring in some information here. our affiliate channel 7 was just outside saint vincent s hospital. we want to play a bit what the reporter had to said. let s listen. in the last half hour, there has been one ambulance arrived here to vincent s hospital which is the largest trauma unit. the male was there, conscious, the sigh rons weren t on. he was assisted out by a paramedic. we haven t been able to confirm it was one of the hostages involved in the siege. we understand that the timing it does matter. we have gathered outside here the hospital. there s been another three hospitals across sydney on standby waiting for patients.
Details about what has gone on. but, look two hostages two people have been killed in this exchange, at least one balance has gone to saint vincent s hospital presumably more at least five people have been injured. this siege after many hours through most of the night has come to a tragic, saddened ending. the situation originated when the hostages were moved from one side of the cafe to the other. basically the group was split in two. and that point one of the groups decided to make a break. they ran away. and it seems that there was a gunshot fired from by the gunman from within the building at that point. we believe a hostage was taken down. it was that the point the police moved in and they realize they d had to go in at that stage. and that s our coverage from our colleagues in sydney
